I’ll try the BIOS flash though just in case – otherwise we are boned as half the cards we ordered are the “wrong” chipset. On others, the driver doesn’t load, the array isn’t seen, and we cannot load the images.

Reflash the BIOS for one of the cards, as a test. At worst, a newer controller should still be able to emulate an older controllers settings – after all, isn’t it just a matter of reading the records on disk that specify the properties for the array and using those?

The cards are identical – one that works and td2300 that doesn’t both have the same version and revision info on the PCB, and they all have the same BIOS revision.
